All applications will be reviewed for completeness, eligibility and compliance with requirements listed in the packet.   The Scholarship Committee will award scholarships in May 2025. Finalists will be notified and must submit proof of admission prior to award funding.  The scholarships will be paid directly to the academic institution.  The decision of the Committee is final and cannot be appealed. 

Between four and six scholarships will be awarded this year in the amounts of $1000 and $500. The applications are evaluated based on essay content and structure, personal need, extracurricular activities, academics, and community involvement.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Please review the packet  for a complete list of eligibility requirements.  Primarily, you must be a graduating senior residing in  Houston County, Texas, or one of the surrounding counties. You must also be admitted to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or an accredited technical school or program.  You do not need to be a farmer or rancher or enrolled in a related field.

All applications must be postmarked on or before April 7, 2025.  Applications must be submitted by US mail  (emailed applications will not be accepted) and mailed to:
